ThoughtSpot is ThoughtSpot's AI data & analytics product, launched in 2012. Search-and-AI analytics platform whose Spotter agent answers business questions in natural language across your warehouse.
It is aimed at intermediate users — the learning curve is moderate. Day one you would use it for self-service BI, executive reporting and embedded analytics. It runs on Web, iOS and Android, including a mobile app, and there is an API if you want it inside your own systems.
Where it shines
What you are really paying for here: non-analysts can self-serve and scales to large warehouses. The feature set behind that is natural-language search, spotter AI agent, liveboards, warehouse-native and embedded analytics.
